I would like to take a 32 inch pc screen.
However, I don't know what resolution is recommended.
I use Studio One Pro 6, Cubase Pro 12 and Ableton Live 11 Suite.
Classic or curved screen?
About the resolution
Full HD or 4K, others?
Note that I am more or less a meter away from my screen.
Very important, it is absolutely necessary that I have very good visibility, that is to say that I can read the handwritten part, character (Files, edition options and others).
That I can also have good visibility, session screen, arrangement, mixing and when opening vst and plugins.
Because with certain resolutions, nothing is readable, far too small.
Thank you in advance for your answers.

I have a 32 inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. Most people would want a better resolution but if you need it to be readable at a distance of 1 meter I do not recommend to go any higher.

Yep. That's what my monitor is set to. The LG that I posted above has dropped in price 100€ sinceI bought it.

This is a good choice! I have Dell (S2721QS) 27" IPS 4k and it is 150% scaled in Windows and in Ventura. 32" version of my display would be super cool! But, at the time I bought mine (about 2 years ago now), there wasn't a 32" of the one I wanted.Michael L wrote: Tue Mar 07, 2023 4:53 pm I have a 32" flat 4k IPS monitor and it does what you want.
Mine is an LG but many brands are good.
The font is very sharp and I'm about 90 cm or so away from it. I can read it fine and easy. All DAWs you mentioned runs great. I also run PS5, Xbox SX (4k) and Switch (1080p).
I really don't have a problem with any plugin except some old ones like FM8, Absynth and Korg odyssey. So, it depends on what plugins you are using. If they are new ones, you mostly can be sure they all will run fine when the OS is 150% or 200% scaled.
Be careful from cheap VA 32" curved monitors! They are good for movies and games but bad for applications. I suggest a good IPS flat monitor.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.
