Looking both at the m audio hammer 88 pro and the novation launchkey 88 as options for 88 controllers for my DAW.
Strictly "action" speaking i would go for the hammer 88 pro since it got a nice action (tried it in a store) and aftertouch, which the launchkey lacks.
But other than that, since whatever keyboard it will end up being - it should work as tightly as possible with Cubase 12 pro.
Now, both have the knobs, faders, buttons, transport controls and drum pads.
Question is which integrates better with cubase 12 pro, which has more dedicated control over specific cubase features, which has been reported to have glitches and problems or difficulties to set up with cubase - and always happy to hear some good advice from your experience.

Just something to be aware of, the m-audio keyboards have a very difficult action to work with.
Most keybeds the resistance is equal throughout the push of a note, m-audio's keybeds however are front-loaded -- their action is more like an initial resistance, which makes it extremely difficult to play softer nuance playing. It's a bit difficult to explain, however play it again and you might see what I mean.

Plenty of people have m-audio keyboards so it may not be an issue for them, and there's nothing out there mentioning how the keybed front-loads. For me it was a deal breaker as most of my music is in the soft playing range.
