Can anyone tell me how to post a normal sized video. They won't let me attach a video larger than 1mb.

FWIW, I use a separate service, screencast.com (which I have to pay for) to host bug/feedback/suggestion videos I post here and elsewhere. Alternatively, f you have established an account on YouTube, you can post video there and share the links.

Just an impression, but it seems almost no one lets you post videos directly into Forums these days.

So for example if I wanted to make a song like Nirvana I would put in all of my favourite Nirvana midi files and chord progressions and then RC would make me brand new songs based off of what I've imported.

So something like this:

Just a bit of fun but something where a midi (or series of midis) can be learnt from with some user defined rules and variations (or genre) that made the alternative output range close to the original or complete mash up but still influenced from the original material.

Hi Attila. So far I haven't been able to install beta 5. But now I tried to open the plugin again and unfortunately I see the problem of opening the plugin again.For some reason, two plug-in windows (empty and normal) reopen, and when the empty one closes, the normal one also closes. Well, in general, you can see it in the video at the link. I don't know what to do with it.

Just so you are not completely disappointed, the neural stuff may not be in the next beta release, but, maybe after that. Attention was paid to more functionality to the CC stuff.. a function tool was added.. (sine, square, etc.), but, yes, it is still coming..

naw, the function stuff is really cool.. as an example, say you have a two instrument combination VST that each instrument is mapped to the CC mod wheel. Full + mod is one instrument, and full - is the other. Any thing in the middle is a combination of both. If you used a saw tooth on the CC 11 mod, and timed it based on what ever beat you wanted, you could play each instrument every other beat. Stuff like that.. ( and you wouldn't have to manually place the points, as you would with out the function tool)

RapidComposer v4.7b6 is available!

This update implements BluGenes' idea for using functions for MIDI CC's. It is smartly done, e.g. the sine function is approximated by exponential curve segments, so the minimal number of points are required. Use it as creatively as you can, e.g. you can apply it on note velocities to make interesting rhythm effects. It is available in overwrite mode ([Replace] button), but you can set existing CC values/points too without creating new ones with the [Set] button. Please report any issues you find.

In the Phrase Editor there is a new button added, and when editing CC's for tracks you can find it in the context pop-up (right-click):



Improvements:

• Function generator added in the MIDI CC editor (in the context menu and in the Phrase Editor CC editor toolbar)
• Fixed a bug when duplicating variations using envelopes in the Structure Editor
