Vsthost rescales all plugins (even those who don't support it) while most daws fail. Why?

Diversion, according to Dmitry Sches, doesn't support high dpi. Yet when opened in vsthost, it looks great. It's barely the size of a stamp on S1, reaper, bitwig, and every other daw I tried (win 11). How is this possible?

Same for Khz ONE, and many other synths.

Is there any workaround to make those plugins look good inside a daw? My favorite is S1. I contacted their tech support, and they blamed it on the plugin and kept trucking.
