anyone remember the name of the audio buffer recording plugin?

Saw a plugin a while back that records constantly the system audio, then you can just drag it into your daw if you want. great for resampling etc... can't remember the name (thought it was bitbird but that's not it). Any ideas?

No problems here, but regarding native, I don‘t know/care as my DAW is Bitwig and I only run the CLAP version.

if on, "permanently" write the data (audio)--> into your RAM,
vs.
"recording" a "dedicated recording" --> that writes to HD , --> AND: uses disk space any time you use it

oh ok...so the idea is that it continually loop overwrite records anything coming over the sound card from any app in the background irrespective of any apps transport controls being engaged?...restrospective midi record, but for audio...i see how that could extend the original use case...seems like the natural evolution of the functionality...nice
