Has Roland discontinued its pro MIDI controller line?

After speaking with several different retailer reps trying to order an A-800PRO recently, the only consistent answers I've been able to get from them are:
  • They're expecting an additional shipment of the smaller models (A-300PRO and A-500PRO), but just the one
  • The A-800PRO is not simply back-ordered or "supply-chained," but is actually deactivated entirely as a product in their systems
  • Nobody will actually say yes, these are discontinued so don't bother, but are also unable to give even the slightest hint about what's going on or when any products might be available again
Just curious if anyone has any insights on this. Roland's controllers are getting a little long in the tooth at this point, but they've been consistently a fairly bulletproof no-nonsense choice in the price range. Finding other models these days with the same quality of keybed, aftertouch, class-compliant USB MIDI merging and control surface build quality is not a straightforward endeavor. :(

The entire product line is definitely discontinued. Long and McQuade, Sweetwater, B and H, as well as Musician's Friend no longer lists any of them as available.

I hope they have a new generation ready, I like roland keybeds the most.

I was told once that 'most' manufacturers will delay a 'discontinued' announcement as long as possible; they've found the moment you say that, sales just die as people expect to see the item on clearance, heavily reduced, concerns about support etc. They hope to sell as many units at regular price for as long as possilbe.
