Quite substantial update, and it’s finally M1 native. 20€ is a fair update price, I think. It’s still a very musical stutter effect, and comes with a few new effects now. The ring modulator is nice, but I wish it could be locked it to a scale.

i own Replicant 3, but i might have bought it somewhere else. It is not shown in my AD account.
And: it is NOT taking the update code !
is this normal at AD ?.....not shure, but i thought i stumbled over similar reports vs. enso, here at kvr.
Whats the way to go ?

Yeah I bought it from Plugin Boutique last year and it didn't require me to create an AD account you just download the installer from the Plugin Boutique account. So I don't have any upgrade on the AD site either, kind of sucks.Funky40 wrote: Wed Mar 15, 2023 2:25 am i own Replicant 3, but i might have bought it somewhere else. I think I’m done with Audio Damage. It’s rare that I have a plugin bring Bitwig down, but when it happens its been Audio Damage. Last one was Enso. Just randomly crashes. I wrote support and months went by with no response. I wrote again and they basically said, “well you weren’t specific about what was crashing it,” but my explanation clearly stated that it would just randomly crash no matter what I was doing.

Discord 4 crashes bitwig regularly. It's so bizarre. No issues in Live at all, but run it in bitwig, constantly crashes.zerocrossing wrote: Wed Mar 15, 2023 3:07 am I think I’m done with Audio Damage. It's weird, too, because in some recent-ish audio damage videos, they're demo'ing their plugins in bitwig as host....

Is that even possible?!
I thought Bitwig was completely crash-proof.

I'ts not. It's supposed to sandbox all crashing plugins, but it doesn't work 100% of the time -- but, that said, the ONLY company I've had bring it to its knees is Audio Damage.DrGonzo wrote: Wed Mar 15, 2023 3:53 amIs that even possible?!![]()

Don't want to be that guy to try to turn bad things into good, but if only Audio Damage brings Bitwig down, that should be a goldmine of information for Bitwig to find out ways to make it even more secure.mholloway wrote: Wed Mar 15, 2023 3:57 amI'ts not. If you are a Replicant 2 owner who purchased from Plugin Boutique:
Plugin Boutique will send you a coupon to upgrade to Replicant 3 on their site.

Thanks. I'm guessing I need to send a message to PB on their site? They didn't send out any update email with a code or any announcement for Replicant 2 owners.GaryG wrote: Wed Mar 15, 2023 8:41 amIf it helps, the email I got from AD said specifically:seangm wrote: Wed Mar 15, 2023 2:59 amYeah I bought it from Plugin Boutique last year and it didn't require me to create an AD account you just download the installer from the Plugin Boutique account. I think PB takes a while to catch up with updates.

I can't say, I only got the AD email because I've brought directly from them before.seangm wrote: Wed Mar 15, 2023 5:50 pm Thanks. I'm guessing I need to send a message to PB on their site? They didn't send out any update email with a code or any announcement for Replicant 2 owners.
Have to say though I've found PBs support very good, sorting out activation issues very quickly so certainly worth pinging them a message.

Yeah, that’s where this conversation started. I reported frequent crashing with no pattern. You just had to use it for a bit and it would go down after a while, seemingly at random. I was told that wasn’t enough for them to replicate it, but quite obviously other people are having issues with their plugins as well.DrGonzo wrote: Wed Mar 15, 2023 4:02 amDon't want to be that guy to try to turn bad things into good, but if only Audio Damage brings Bitwig down, that should be a goldmine of information for Bitwig to find out ways to make it even more secure.mholloway wrote: Wed Mar 15, 2023 3:57 amI'ts not.
