RePro CLAP beta should be available by then!

And it's not just 3 LFO's and 4 Env's... but modulators like Steps, ParSeq-8, Note Counter, Quantize, AHD on Release that will add so much new modulation possibility!

Previous versions have gone more like x.0, x.1, x.2, x.3

Then major version upgrade.

I'm interested to see what'll be included in Bitwig 5.0 - but I'm very happy using it as is. I would just keep paying them without any updates! :hihi:
I hope they do some work on the DAW itself and not just the addendums.
The usage of markers and not being able to assign shortcuts to them is still underwhelming. Also some features to organize tracks better would be good, like hiding them and maybe to define track scenes. Working with clips and audio events still feels odd at many places. So much stuff to do there

With comping for MIDI and MSEG, I do not start :D

Post

Maybe they are concentrating on "normal" options to add into the program.
Than they wil get more and more users.
I mean, MSEG would be nice, but there are more things that are "really" missing in Bitwig

Post

I hope they will add a global Suspend off instead of having to do it manually for every plugin that don't like that option.

A Tie option for the arpeggiator would also be great for making melodic gated pads.

And step recording from external keyboard :)

Bitwig is in version5 already? wow, time flies, it seems like yesterday we were making songs and memes about bitwig taking too long to come out.

I predict version 5 will drop VST support and be CLAP only.

Not much has changed :D

X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

For now that is suicide with so little CLAP plug ins.

Why would they do that when they have continued to support 32bit plugins, while other DAW developers have dropped it? Supporting legacy software doesn't seem to be an issue for them and VST2 and 3 have hardly reached legacy status.

Unless this is a wind up and I have fallen for it
Always Read the Manual!

Would love to see ARA and Key switching added to Bitwig, but doubt it's high on the list of most users.
That said, I didn't think comping would get added, but it did.

I predict an Apple Bitwig/UHE buyout and Zebra 3 to be released at NAMM as a Bitwig exclusive. Bitwig will no longer be available for Linux/Windows platforms. If you have a complaint, please see previous threads regarding Alchemy Apple buyout.

Nah, it's been quiet about Bitwig updates, and its been quiet about the new Behringer daw. Coincidence? Soon to be revealed, the "new" daw BehrWig (or BitRinger) DAW, for crossgrade your required to buy at least one piece of Behringer hardware.

It would make more sense to me that Behringer would just outright buy a DAW rather than try to make one from scratch. I’m just not sure Bitwig would be it. I always imagined a Behringer daw being a bit more “traditional” to coincide with their mixers etc.
