I'd rather spend my cash on a few Korg Volcas, I know they work, I own them, and if I get pissed off I get the satisfaction of smashing them to bits! Can't do that with shitty Roland software!

I love Roland Cloud could care less about the management software. I think the instruments are excellent. Not trying to diminish anyone else’s experience or voice, but just providing my own perspective.

I like the plugins, but I wonder if they will add any features to them. I’d like something for the D-50 like what the JD-800 has to make changes easily/quickly to the 4 layers at once.

I wonder when can we expect native VST3 support for Apple M CPU’s ..?!

Looks like there is movement on this. Zenology Pro 2 has been released and this has VST3 silicon support. Just been playing it in the latest version of Komplete Kontrol which is only VST3 when not in rosetta mode. I saw a bunch of other instruments from the cloud momentarily in my Roland Cloud Manager but all except the JD800 have disappeared for now.
also Zenology FX are working in silicon now too.

It looks like the other updates I saw were for the audio unit versions. None of the Roland cloud instruments are showing as incompatible in logic now.
so only jd800 and zenology are available for vst3 silicon ( and zenology fx) for me right now

For a preset hack like myself, Zenology is an absolute gem (and to date, the ONLY subscription for music software I have taken up). So many beautiful classic sounds that sit really easily in to my sad 80s inspired pop.

glad to see reverb added to zenology pro.
still unacceptable load time, though.
and not fond of the new overly bright colors used in the model expansions. retina burn on a couple of them.

I knew they’d get around to adding reverb just after I let my subscription lapse after banging on about it for years

Has anyone seen the ZOOM function in Zenology 2.0? It was always under MENU which was to the right of EDIT. Now there is FX button where the menu button used to be and MENU seems to be gone forever. There are some good features to Zen 2.0 but after one hour using it, the eyestrain from the smaller screen and inability to enlarge it means I just have to put it away and not use it for now.
