R4 - TAIL Function reconstructable in other Reverbs? Tai Chi, Cinematic Rooms, Valhalla ?

hi guys, im trying to replace my R2, R4 and Nimbus, so far i could replace them in 3 projects as the sound was near or not so serious but here i dont get it , maybe it is very unique or im just not good in understanding Reverbs.

this video shows a simple SNARE fully WET in R4, first without Tail you hear a simple? LARGE HALL (the original preset is LARGE HALL!) and then i dial in the TAIL function.
then i open various reverbs where i try to (without TAIL) match the sound but there is nothing really coming close to R4.... or i set them completely wrong.

1. does someone have tips how to get the HALL/ROOM sound similiar?
2. maybe how i can get this TAIL effect in other reverbs done?

Hi,
In your video clip all you are doing in R4 is moving the room size knob - which incidentally moves the reverb time (or Decay in other reverbs) at the same time, which is achievable in any reverb with 2 tweaks needed instead of one? or am I missing something. - or depending on which DAW you use, you could link both parameters to one knob if that makes sense.

All (if I'm remembering right) Liquidsonics reverbs separate the early and late reflections and can operate (differently, depending on the reverb) on both. You can even use one reverb for one and a different reverb for another (Sean from Valhalla recommends in parallel rather than in serial when doing this with reverbs).

The Exponential reverbs have their own sound. I deleted them after they glitched out and almost caused hearing damage. I replaced them with Cinematic Rooms Pro (Nimbus) and TaiChi/HDCart (R4). I don't really miss them.
