Softube Tape is a good tape emulation plugin. You can also try BABY Audio TAIP.

Arturia Preamps - have tried in the past and I did like them, but I don't really use preamps in my workflow, so didn't get them.

Emprical labs Arousor and Arouror LT (not exactly a distressor but similar functionality), also IK Multimedia Comprexxor is a distressor emulation, which they give away for free, from time to time. You can also check the buy/sell forum for a unused license code someone is selling. Although installing IK Multimedia plugins causes pollution on your storage drive by installing a lot of unwanted stuff you'll never use. So beware of that.
