I have recently finished my new studio and since it will be a professional studio, I intend to buy proper equipment for its purpose.
For this reason, the first purchase I am going to make will be a good Audio Interface.
My budget is from $800 to $1000.
I Need:
- I would like to have an interface with at least 8 total inputs, to allow me to record vocals, guitars, bass, and keyboards.
- I would like to have the ability to load DSPs directly onboard.
- I work with Windows so I am looking for a board compatible with this operating system
- I would like fairly low latency and quality ADCs.
- If the board was expandable that would be great but not a key point.
- At least 2 headphone outputs or possibly an expandable output for multiple headphones
I DON'T need:
- I don't need a high number of outputs and inputs since I won't be recording live drums and I don't plan to use large analog racks. (Maybe one analog compressor but nothing more).
- I don't need wifi connections to the phone rather than other such connections.
- It does not need to be a card with thunderbolt output, USB is fine with me as well
- I do not need to connect many speakers, I use 2 Yamaha HS8s and a mono speaker for mix check. (Maybe I will put a subwoofer in the future but I am not sure).
Thank you all for the help
