Tal-Sampler panning does nothing, help!

I have samples of two different string players. Each has 3 octaves.
They're both different. One is playing on layer A and the other on B both at the same time.
I wanted to create a pseudo-stereo effect by that but when i turn the pan knob, it doesn't actually do anything. :x

My mistake! I had the master in mono.
