Spire vst3 doesn't automatically replace older vst2 instances.

No it is not, you need the vst2 for compatibility with older tracks.

Yeah that is a really odd decision imho.

Btw has anyone had problems with their favourites?
I favourited all the banks I have in vst2 version months ago, but the vst3 version seems to be ignoring that favourited information.
