Audient id14 vs Motu M4 input metering levels

Hi All

I have recently bought both and am confused with the input levels. if i play youtube on the Audient, i can only turn the volume on youtube to a quarter before it goes in the red. When using the M4 the volume on youtube is full and it is nowhere near the red.

Any ideas on what is going on here?

Apart from the "fader" that YouTube has itself, there's also the Windows Mixer and possibly another fader on the console app of the interface. So many places you can set a volume, it's getting
To take some factors (and software layers) out of the equation, try an application that uses ASIO and then compare.
