Is there any 808 Bass plugin that can do it slides like in FL Studio?

How to do this, that and the other. Share, learn, teach. How did X do that? How can I sound like Y?

FL Studio has a very interesting ''slides'' feature which works very well on the 808 bass.
However, I wonder how to get the same effect in any other DAW that does not have such a function?
The only plugin I found is a free Grace sampler in which you can switch the mode to Legato and set the Glide knob in the right way, the effect is similar but it's not the same and I couldn't get the same as in the video below.
Is there any other plugin in which you can make the same slide as FL Studio or is it a function reserved only for owners of FL Studio and possibly Ableton because in this DAW you can also get similar effects.

Any sampler on the market? I'd be pretty upset if a sampler didn't have some kind of portamento on it. In the vid he's playing samples, every sampler should be able to do that - it's not really anything to do with the DAW.

Slides?
It's either portamento in any choice of DAW or VST sampler, or you can use the pitch wheel on a midi controller, or the pitch automation that's available in every DAW.
I've never seen or used "slide" as a note property before, but I manly use Reaper and haven't tried FL Studio in a long time.
There are two kinds of people in the world. Those which can finish a tune, and those which has 300 two-bar loops.

Not sure if you mentioned what DAW you are actually using? Maybe someone can walk you through exactly how to get it done.

I have never used FL Studio, so I can't confirm, but I think this might do what you are talking about.

In addition to portamento, as others mentioned, which slides from one played note to the next, it also has a 'slide' feature that will cause the note played to slide either downward or upward one or two octaves, with selectable time. I have been using this, and find it quite good.

Machine, kontakt, most any sample based synth.

FL Studio internally uses it's own representation of notes, not MIDI. That is the reason why you have very flexible slide notes, pan and micropitch (in steps of 10 cent) per note whereas in MIDI pitchbend and pan are per instrument only. Those FL specific note data can only be used by FL Studio's own VSTs.

you can try SubLab or SubLab XL with the glide on

I did watch the video... reminds me of a majority of the 'somber' music behind 'German in Venice' channel when he is filming the homeless on YT. Folks this attribute has been around for some time old Impulse Tracker Format had all kinda slide - porto functions as well as NNAs (new note actions) and even 'panbrello'...

Depends on what is exactly wanted. Even in ReBirth you can continuosly 'tie' the accent & slide buttons from note to note to constantly slide from note to note without any 'hit' unless you want it by disengaging the buttons...

Here in my WIP in Protrekkr I got both 303s running one with riffing the other dedicated bassline then bridge into chorus is brief whole-tone scale riff of both into chorus where the dedicated bass 303 is now mostly tied accent-slide except for where it's not giving it a wavy sound but double-tapping a note as well-

Anyway that's what I wanted to achieve at that point, I guess I gotta get with finishing it...

Got me to thinking about ChibiTracker as it adds even some more to the Impulse Tracker Format...

Been needing to do multi-captures of the help window so I don't have to open it & poke around plus made a PDF for study but HERE is just the Effects of Chibi which is Impulse Tracker compliant & then some-

Here is the rest which are key commands-

That all took 12 captures spliced together...

Anyways for those into insane slides & what-not check out ChibiTracker-

I got sub lab, sorta soso tbh. Not very true to life. 808 studio was better, is too bad there's not more mainstream options. 808 studio does not have any glitches that I've seen, but the presets are few; and that is disappointing.
