Incidentally, I'd also never heard of Cardinal. Must try it out. And it persuaded me to finally check out Surge - dunno why I haven't already - I used it years ago when it came out and I liked it then, but it looks like a different beast nowadays. The other FX in the vid were a bit meh IMO, but I never got into trance gates, so prolly just my weird tastes. And some distortions - which sound good, but generally I'm not into fuckstuffup music
Is Deelay really that good?

Dunno how I missed it, but I completely did. I was surfing around and hit on this vid in some downtime at work. There's at least 3 plugins there that I have to check out. Deelay looks right up my street - reverse/reverse-forward, which still isn't commonly on delays, diffusion, and TBH it just sounds lush from what vids I could find online after seeing this one. After my run of nights I'm def downloading Deelay. Sounds better-featured than quite a few commercial delays I could name... In the meantime to keep my GAS going, until I can play with it - what's the general opinion on Deelay?

I have been trying Deelay and it's my goto free delay now.
I had an issue with high feedback and signal clipping and it was fixed in one day (the free version eh).
And... Surge and Vital are simply amazing.

Since you're at Sixth Sample, also check the free CramIt. A better OTT

Also liking Deelay a lot. Not sure how much the paid version really adds, yet always a good idea to support independent & innovative developers.

You must have missed me posting about it here 9 months ago. I think Venus Theory spotted my post here and decided to spotlight it in this video
