:D Hi, i need your recommendations for Rock or Metal related sample cd's, I only have two.
8) I won't mind downloading them off of "some" website. I'm really interested in these both genres.
Anything in general that relates to these genres would do. Basses, Guitars, Drums, Breaks, Riffs, Ambiences. I always longed for making something in the style of the oldschool but still the best Tekken 3 soundtracks. But that's just one example. Every one of us has to love that 12bit 22050hz glory! Of those mentioned CD's, i already have East West - Steve Stevens and E-MU Heavy Guitars. I'm also open to something outside of the 90's era. :o If you listen to the kind of Tony Hawks Pro Scater 2 or Tekken 3 soundtracks, you'll get the idea what i'm thinking of. I'm also a guitar player, own a few modern guitar and drum libraries but i can't quite get them to the GM level. In that regard, i'm also open to sampling tips. If i can make something more modern sound a little oldschool that would do the trick right? A guitar is still a guitar when pulled through an akai for example. I'm no amateur in sampling but i'm looking forward to your suggestions! LET THE RAIN BEGIN!!!

If you mean construction style loops, then you could have a look at what Producerplanet have.

Those would work too. And that website isn't that bad, although it's upmost modern stuff.
There could be some use for it i suppose. :dog:

Yeah, its aimed at the cheaper end, being primarily fodder for the Music Maker software, but I grab a few every time there's a sale, I kinda like the idea of using them as sources for weird processing in the modular etc...
