Hey, it's just not working right now. I would just delete all of the bad talk on here and find a new way. I honestly think you need to start a new method of approach. Yeah, just delete anything negative on here and start over. I would ditch making any soundbanks for synths you've already work on- you have enough stuff for these synths. Think though, how many people out there want Lush-101? Thorn? Largo? These are soundsets for very few customers. Still use KVR, but just get rid of all of the negative posts and start over with it. When people search google, KVR results come up and that will help you. I bought the Avenger soundbanks from you so there is some sales I know coming in even if it's small. Don't hate your situation, you need to be revitalized, for every negative post you want to put up, I would post an interesting thread in the topics and talk about synths you are interested in talking about as it will show up in google so take advantage of that. Many sound designers are having trouble and it's a poor business model since once folks on kvr dry up no more buys for synths most retailers aren't buying. Most sound designers have other jobs than selling soundbanks online and do other music related stuff, or different job. You need more confidence. I spent 7 months too on music venture and quit it recently like you! It was a failure. So, I know exactly what you are going through. But screw that project, and screw it if it isn't working. I'll tell you, you aren't doing enough youtube videos and you aren't selling the right soundbanks (people aren't buying these synths to get the type of music you are making for them and not enough retail buyers are getting Lush 101 or Halion anyways to get customers), and you are making banks people can't make music with. You have to make what other people want or stop, I know it might suck to make banks for people sounds you don't want to but you have to quit or try to make them happy, at least find a compromise. You are very talented. I'll say this- Make Youtube videos and promote, find out what types of banks are selling for which synths, and push Serum 2 HARD. I mean make like 5 banks for that, and get on youtube everyday, and try that if it inspires you but you need social confidence, youtube everyday or whenever a few days per week, get a following and push sounds that musicians need in order to make music. I don't know the history of this thread, but I see that it might help if I also reassure you are really good (still listening to your lush-101 demos) and I like the sounds you've created.
Whatever happened keep your head up and try to relax a bit, sometimes letting some stuff go makes room for new things.
Hope you get through this fast and your sound design efforts eventually pay off in a better way!
