That’s great! I’ve got pretty much all the waves plug-ins I wanted and most on V14, including StudioRack - so this is great! That alone can keep me keeping up with WUP. I can see if someone isn’t into waves, how subscription could make sense.

ie; the chain will not work if you don't own a plugin that is in that chain.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sun Apr 02, 2023 12:28 pmYes, but the chains will work even if you don't own certain plugins. That plugin will just not load

Just different way of looking at it. I am looking at the whole thing positively.LFO8 wrote: Sun Apr 02, 2023 12:49 pmie; the chain will not work if you don't own a plugin that is in that chain.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sun Apr 02, 2023 12:28 pmYes, but the chains will work even if you don't own certain plugins. EDIT: It doesn't make sense to try StudioVerse (chains) in the first place if you don't have many Waves plugins. It is aimed at those who use subscription or own a lot of perpetual licenses.

Agree. That being said, I do love Studiorack and it's capabilities for multiband and parallel applications for the Waves plugins I do own.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sun Apr 02, 2023 1:15 pmEDIT: It doesn't make sense to try StudioVerse (chains) in the first place if you don't have many Waves plugins. It also works with Non-Waves VST3s too. That's where it really gets interesting.LFO8 wrote: Sun Apr 02, 2023 3:28 pmAgree. Everything is subscription only until they bring back the perpetual licenses shortly (guess tomorrow?). Only WUP has been reinstantiated for now.

I wonder what happens if I press this button...

Yeah, it was. Unfortunately, StudioRack is an exception in perpetual purchases and cannot be purchased separately, it's subscription only.ramseysounds wrote: Sun Apr 02, 2023 5:15 pmPretty sure it’s a freebieserge wrote: Sun Apr 02, 2023 5:11 pm Looks like StudioRack doesn’t have a price yet. I assume you could still WUP an existing older StudioRack license.
Lucky to have it. Guess most of would have it.

Looks like bundle upgrades are gone now (can't see the option in my account), which is strange.

Yes, same here. It may yet re-appear of course as things are coming back in stages.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sun Apr 02, 2023 5:54 pm Looks like bundle upgrades are gone now (can't see the option in my account), which is strange.

Odd - so many people confidently said the sales prices would never return.ramseysounds wrote: Sun Apr 02, 2023 6:38 pmWell done Waves. It’s hard for me to fathom, but maybe some forum warriors were wrong.

Yayyyy!!! With all that nonsense out of the way we can get back to the important business of collecting plugins...I mean making music (nudge, nudge, wink, wink)
