PS Feature request: pitch bend please

Thanks so much! FM has always been difficult to understand! Also, use could pitch bend by changing the fine tune (maybe with automation) of the oscillators that have some mix out. Hope that helps!

It is open source so you can raise a pull request so I would say yes go ahead and improve it for us Otherwise it may not be fair on others - just keep the version you use a released version and not some private branch of code.

would be really nice to see common synth features like selectable number of voices & mono synth mode features like portamento / glide & legato.

I didn't see it posted here, so relaying the message from Discord:

If you're on a recent Mac (10.15+, I think), you need to run a command to allow the plugin to work. For the VST version of the plugin, copy it to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST, and then run:

sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/OctaSine*

You will have to enter your password (because this is a System directory). If you already tried to load it in your DAW, you will likely have to re-scan failed plugins. I can't say how to do this for all DAWs, but in Bitwig (from the main popup -- if you click the Bitwig icon) it is: Settings -> Plug-ins -> Show plug-in errors -> Rescan All (or just the one)

Hi everyone, my first time here. I'm also a little new to sound synthesizing from scratch so i wanna see where i get to with this. It works well on W10 pro 64bit with FL Studio 12 so far (i do have the problem of the DAW crashing when trying to clear a bank so that's a general programming issue on the software i think). It's a little bit limited though, but gonna keep going anyways, every practice is for the better XD.

@IV! Thank you for the lyrics hehe, I see how these simple video game phrases can invoke profound insights to what is actually going on in the real world!

So I tried to play around with Octasine, one thing led to another, and now I already have a 3 minute long track! Not a single crash!

v0.8.5 is now up on the Octasine website. Details in the release note on the site but the gist of it is the addition of new waveforms and a fix for the crash on clear issue.

Also note that the previous version (0.8.4) fixed the Bitwig CLAP GUI issue on Windows and modified the patch format so you might want to back up any saved patches before opening them in the new version (they will be converted).
