I take it as a hopeful sign that the AAS plugins themselves with get MPE support!aMUSEd wrote: Tue Apr 04, 2023 10:15 am Nice that the AAS devices now have MPE (more than their own do) but why no MPE for Operator still?

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Drift sounds nice and it's free, so can't really complain
. Like some others, I've kind of given up on Ableton developing features I want/need and I've made my peace with that and will be grateful for whatever they decide to add before v12 comes along.

Yes, the drift synth sounds way better than I was expecting, lovely GUI as well.

Different DAW's do different methods. In Bitwig, Bounce in Place can be done with a single clip because Bitwig has Hybrid tracks. So you can have a bunch of midi clips on a track and use BiP to render one of those clips or a time range to audio and still keep the other midi clips on the track.
In Live, the Freeze function is for the whole track, not per clip or time range (unless that has changed in the last year?).

Freeze and Flatten does not work per clıp.
You need to
Freeze the whole track
Create a new audio track
Drag the clip you want to that audio track
Unfreeze the original track mute that clip
Compared to done in a second with one keyboard shortcut on most other DAWs
It ıs also the most requested feature on beta forum for years. So there is that.

Ah i see rarely need to bounce only on single clip. Most of the time I bounc the whole track track to audio but i can see why people used to other daws want that feature.Sounds like a simple Q.O.L fix.andypryce wrote: Tue Apr 04, 2023 6:37 pm Freeze and Flatten does not work per clıp.

Agreed, "Drift" looks interesting !
just, since my PC swap, i can´t license the Beta again, while regular 11 is running.

I had a very quick play with Drift and it sounds pretty nice. Simple and pretty straightforward.

Drift is the wish.com Super8 or Polymax, this point update sucks, I wish they would have implemented CLAP or something else from the user request list from the beta forum.
