We have been confirmed for the main stage/arena/whatever for next year's WGT in Leipzig on the Whitsunday long weekend [14-16 May 05]. Needless to say, we are pretty excited as it comes the same week as our KMFDM support and the release of our album in Russia.
We would like to make a full tour of it. We are exclusive to WGT for Germany so there will be no other German dates but we would love to play anywhere and everywhere else in Europe and North America. If anyone can put us in contact with reliable, established promoters, we would be exceedingly grateful.

Doesn't anyone know any live promoters in the Goth/Industrial/EBM scene?

C'mon, we do the obligatory Sisters cover-version. In fact, over the years I have covered 4 Sisters songs at different times.

Cheers Richard! The really cool part, which hadn't occurred to me until our manager mentioned it, is that we will get to see a whole heap of other bands. I am really looking forward to it and its a great excuse to update a few bits and pieces.Synthpopkid wrote:Hi Bones,
I've sent you a PM.
stefancrs, thanks for the info but I would rather work with people who at least come with some kind of recommendation. Still, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to make a few enquiries.

Yes, in 1982 when I was in the Army. We have never performed outside Australia before. We would also like to go to North America if we can.

if he hasn't been, it will be very funny for him to learn that 'industrial' is not the same here (where it was invented) as in america!CypherOne wrote:Have you been to Europe before BONES?
lol, industrial here in germany (where the WGT/Leipzig takes place) means NOT(!!!) guitar contaminated electronic rock stuff
and no one over here still likes 'sisters' covers anymore.
i welcome the currently growing acceptance for 'industrial noise', 'power electronics' and 'ritual' here in the rhein-main-area, these styles are being played more and more in the clubs over here...

Given that my favourite acts are LEAETHER STRIP, DANCE OR DIE, X MARKS THE PEDWALK and ARMAGEDDON DILDOS, I think I have a reasonable grasp of the scene. BTW, Sydney is in Australia, not the US.eisHertz wrote:if he hasn't been, it will be very funny for him to learn that 'industrial' is not the same here (where it was invented) as in america!
CypherOne, we spent a week in Germany and two weeks in England. We only got 10 days notice so we didn't have anything organised [two of us got a free ride over and back with the RAF]. I managed to catch a few good bands in London and see lots of krap.
