Just took a look- upgrading will be cheaper for some but way too expensive for me (I have MAX 3.5 and TONEX MAX so get almost nothing I need and its £300)

Its just a 'one price for all deal' so the less you own the better the deal, the more you own the worse the deal- weird!

TBH that's sorta how it has been going with IK for a while. It was cheaper for me to upgrade to Total Studio that it was to just upgrade Amplitube.

As expected, it's not a very good deal at the moment for existing customers compared to the recent insanely low upgrade deals - with IK the deeper discounts tend to come after waiting some time. How that's affected by the shiny new simplified upgrade policy remains to be seen.

I will pass as I just upgraded to Studio Max 3.5 for about $70.
The stuff in this upgrade is cool but just not worth it for me.

I see no option to upgrade from Total Studio Max 3.5 ?? I can only see the full price €499.99

I just did, still 499.99

After logging in my upgrade price shows as $299.99.
But then on the checkout screen there's a promocode there I can use, so it works out to $249.99.
If I use my Jam points instead of that code, it's $224.99.

I have most of their software, with the exception of Fame and the Stone Room, probably a couple of others, from the 2021 group buy. So, this has nothing to do with me.
I recently tried to upgrade Tonex to Max, but it wouldn't take both the rebate code and my jampoints, so I passed.

Btw. IKM webpage is one of the most horrible, unreadable and UI/UX unfriendly site I've ever seen

I generally have no complaints with them. Lately.
Though, I had to ask what the upgrade path was, and was told to scroll down to the bottom of the Tonex page. 119€ to upgrade to Tonex max doesn't seem worth it to me, with all the free great captures out there. I'm nervous because I have so many eggs in the IK basket. If they pulled something like Waves did, I'd be pissed.

You'd be okay - everything would be back to normal three days later.

Same, IK have one of the dumbest upgrade paths, there's Jam points which can help a bit but even then it's pretty silly, since a person that owns Max doesn't get any better of a deal than someone who owns pretty much anything by them. If they offered a solidly decent price on the upgrade then I would imagine most people would own Max, but it's revealed again and again online that Max users get no real discount besides the possible 30% if they have the Jam points and they haven't ran out, and of course you could not own Max, and use Jam points. The upgrade path being you own a $99 item from them is one of the dumbest in the industry, every thread online has people talking about the lack of value it brings if you own Max products from them.

You qualify for MAXgrade to Total Studio 4 MAX which is $/€299.99 and you also would see a coupon in your cart for $/€50 off which you can apply (unless JamPoints is a better deal then you can use those, that's why the coupons don't auto-apply any more).

Also please note that our pricing has changed, not only are the Total Studio and other MAX versions much lower than they were before for full and crossgrade but many other prices have changed.

Another note - if you have AmpliTube 5 MAX you also get a $/€50 off coupon in your cart for AmpliTube 5 MAX v2 (adding four X-GEAR virtual pedals and MESA 2 which are now 49.99/each and 99.99 respectively, the pedals were lowered significantly but still that would be an end cost of $/€149.99 for what would cost $/€299.99 separately if you don't have those).

For T-RackS 5 MAX users or folks with 5 or more T-RackS processors you'd also get a $/€50 off coupon to apply in your cart and you might want to check out how much more T-RacKS 5 MAX v2 has vs the previous, that's quite a deal at $/€149.99 after coupon.

Yes, I qualify for the 299 upgrade, but as I own almost everything in MAX 4 its a pretty moot point! As I said, great deal for some but for me it would be 2-3 bits and bobs...probably cheaper to buy separately if I actually wanted them.

Unless there is a 'complete you bundle' type pricing these upgrades never work out as good value for people who have been buying the IK products as they come out...just for people with just a few or old products...there isn't much in my opinion if you had MAX3.5, got the Synthtronic bundle and have TONEX MAX (in fact I own TONEX MAX twice as I bought the pedal!)
