Yes, exactly that... but only for those specific frequencies! You can read about it here:

For granular, look at Output Portal (and check out their cool promo vid!)

In terms of hardware, I notice I didn't mention MPE, which is a big step (and the MPE controllers are typically cool).

Well, UAD have started to go native. Seems it'll take a while to port everything.

Bitwig is the coolest thing in your time frame, at least to me. Very fun to work with.
