Well I think the band I used to be in had a pretty cool name. This was about 20 years back and we only did 3 gigs but everyone who saw us remembers us....

I used to play lead guitar for the one and only...

Root Boy Slim! Damn, there's a name that brings back memories of going to the Psyche-Delly in Bethesda and watching some seriously weird local bands (yeah, I used to live in the D.C. area long long ago). What's not to love about a song titled "Boogie 'Till You Puke"?

"The Erection Set" was a D.C. local punk band, the name was cool and the guitarist rocked.. guess they're all working in toy stores now!
