U2 has to be one of the WORST names for a band, ever. However, I still think they're great. They're so big and so good that they transcend their name so that now when we hear the name, we instantly think of the band, and there's a bizarre distance away from the name itself.

You, Too! Ugh. I'm sure there's a deeper significance than that... or at least I hope there is.

Great band names... The Rainbow Butt Monkeys! (who later became Finger Eleven, a mediocre name)

sparklehorse is my favourite band name, I don't know why. ...and you will know us by the trail of dead is a close second

Oh, and when I hear U2, I immediately think of Gary Powers, not Bono. But I guess that should make some sense, considering my name.
