Agreed, the synth version looks pretty fantastic and I really like the way they’ve cleaned up the filter interface and workflow.

Songwriting has for sure lost its value to an extent. A lot of music making has been about plugins and one's capabilities of using the said plugins. It's sad.

I meant analog modelled ZDF filters (e.g. Diva/RePro/Bazille quality). The original Filterscape DSP is ancient, Urs even says so in the video.

love u-he stuff and im glad this is not just a "simple" new filterplugin/modernized version but still, woah it looks and seems very complex . i have no ideas, but would be cool if the plugin and MFM2 would have some more basic edition/GUI version to make simpler things easily.

I just want to get it for its VA synth. It is severely underappreciated, and I am so excited to try it out with the new filter types. With the new updates, it'll be like a software version of Micromonsta!

I'm glad that people that want to have fun tweaking all this filter stuff will get this beautiful complicated tool. And yes, for me personally, this is what is sad about music today, as well as film (CGI superhero movies etc). But I'm 60 years old... This is why my favorite u-he creation is Repro, and why I like retro hardware emulated synth and effect plugins - I enjoy the limitations and the relative simplicity. And I really don't think all of this infinite tweakability has resulted in better music....!

The original was my go to synth for years until time caught up with it. Looking forward to the new one

It looks less complex than the original version, though. They did a great job of improving the interface and making it more intuitive, at least to me.
