How should I set up a delay for a song in 3/4? I know I can calculate the length of a bar but I don't wanna choose 1/4, 1/6 note delay etc. since they simply don't work. Any suggestion?

The same way you'd set up any delay? I don't see the problem. Note divisions work the same way in any time signature. What delay are you using and what doesn't work?
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

Well, you twist the Time knob until it works for the song

I have Logic's stock delay, valhalla, H-delay and D-16 repeater. The delays sounds off no matter what settings. Tempo is 80 and I can sync that inside these plugins, however the delayed note doesn't seem to replicate the 3/4 feel.

I found this awesome delay calculator. Hope you can use it.

As others are suggesting, and as the link from @Osiris shows, the delay time should be 750 ms for a quarter note (assuming that's what you want). This works regardless of whether the time signature is 3/4 or 4/4.

Can you post an example of what you're hearing? Perhaps the song is supposed to be in 6/8 or a different time signature?

I'm so glad I found this because I'm in the same boat when you have a delay that processes in a numerical value instead of tempo sync. Mostly I'll be lazy and just switch to a delay with time adjusted delays but now I can use the ms ones. (Because I'm stupid and math is difficult for me)

Maybe this song shouldn't have a delay in it, then.

What were you trying to achieve when you decided to add a delay effect?

Math isn't "fun" for anyone -- anyone I've ever met, anyway. And one of the last things you want to do when trying to add a delay to a piece of music you're trying to create is to stop and do calculations.

Clearly we meet different people.

(Fair point re: workflow, though.)

I had enough 'math fun' calculating the 5 different pitches for the supersaw oscillator that I built in SE way back when. (This is probably why I don't code.)

Thanks everyone for chiming in and giving your valuable inputs.

Okay, so a Triplet delay with -25% Deviation in Logic's stock Delay made the delays sync better. I used it on Vocals.

Tempo 80
Time Signature 3/4
1/2 Triplet with -25% Deviation showed as 376 ms
1/4 Triplet with -25 % Deviation showed 187 ms

Post

80 bpm = 80 beats per 60 seconds --> 1 beat = 60/80 = 0.75 seconds
So 375 ms is 1/8th note and 187 ms is 1/16th note.
