What I hate about the new RC is the constant pushing for ZenBeats. I don't know anyone who uses it. Why try to compete with the MPC? Also, some of the sample libraries just suck. Haven't found any way to delete those. Does anyone know how? Would also like to delete some entire Zenology preset banks but haven't been able to figure that out yet either.
The earlier preset banks are still lower in volume than the new stuff. New stuff sounds louder and fuller.

Hello,

I have a problem with the D-50 plugin.

After a new installation of Windows 11 on my new SSD, the factory presets 1 Preset.bin - 6 Preset.bin are not installed with the D-50. I backed up the ProgramData/Roland Cloud folder before reinstalling.

If I now copy the saved Presets 1 Preset.bin - 6 Preset.bin to the new system and start the D-50, the files Presets 1 Preset.bin - 6 Preset.bin are renamed to Presets 1 Preset.bak - 6 Preset.bak.

Only when I set the files to read-only do the presets work again. That can't be right somehow, can it? The additional banks that I can download from the cloud work without problems.

Maxi: there are still bugs in the system. mine sometimes vary from day to day. i guess you could try roland support at some point...

Delete all banks, or back up them. Reinstall D50, open it first (it then install the factory banks) and then add 3rd party / addon banks.

I noticed something weird on the activity monitor a little while ago and guess what? Roland secretly trying to force install a new version of ZENBEATS. JFC man. I don't use it, I don't want it, stop trying to force this junk onto my machine. Damn.

Roland Cloud Manager.. Settings / Preferences. Uncheck "Auto-Update My Instruments"

Unless you're saying it's ignoring that setting?

Thank you for posting this. It was the catalyst I needed to remove everything from Roland Cloud including the manager last night.

Is this a known issue with these plugins? When you make tweaks in a plugin the numerical readout will persist, even after you close the plugin GUI, and even after you close the *project* and open a blank one. Only way to get rid of them is to close & reopen Ableton.

I don't have that issue with Cakewalk as the DAW using XV-5080 and the D-50.

so is there any new vst coming? roland cloud is pretty quiet ? jp8000/8080 is still not released :/
