And yet, here you are, interacting away.
I sure hope you get the love you need from someone
What a pathetic thought that is. The very concept of it is laughable.

Those sharp corners and default colours look so dated to me now…
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Post

Amazing, How is it that somebody finds bullying members since 2001 a satisfying activity? What a life well spent potato bugs have a better outlook...

It is stated that industrial music is just a beat applied to foley, YET I am attacked for having a HiHat that's too loud? It was supposed to be that way, call it 'industrial' if you must I was just talking pitch bends with a joystick...WTF...

He denounces all those DAWs hell Podium is coded by one of the original guys from TCworks-TCelectronics it don't get any tighter or better than that whilst he has on EVERY comment the NovaKill shite?...I tried that stuff years ago & deleted it as so many would not pass it on VST scan that synthedit shit done wrong...

Obviously he doesn't THINK about what is being typed out it's just angry blurts for whatever reason perhaps to reach some kinda epiphany...

also I call bullshit on this-
Image

Is that a wish list of sorts?...Or is somebody overcompensating for a lack elsewhere?...I think for way less than all of that would cost one could easily visit a local enlargement clinic & fix the real problem...

1985. Dr. T's KCS 128, recording to a Tascam 246 Portastudio. Traded a Dali print for the Commodore 128. First project was a cover of the Peter Gunn theme which was in the arcade game Spyhunter.

Oh man I wanted an Amiga. Eight extra bits, lol! A few years later I built a studio in Brooklyn based around a 1040ST and an actual 8-track reel-to-reel :). Cannot remember what the software was though. Either Cubase or Notator I'd guess.

I do remember we had one of those Tom Sholz Rockman boxes that was great in an apartment. And I got a lovely recording of a sax solo in the bathroom, lol.

Wow! Do you have recordings of that time which you can post here? That would be interesting! :hyper:

You got screwed on that deal!

But thumbs way up for anything Dr T's. :tu:
I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better? :(

Wasn't a bad deal. The 128 with drive was like $700. I had a few prints that my dad had gotten in some tax shelter scheme, but the market had been glutted with them and they really weren't worth much. It was a fair deal - couldn't make music on a print, lol.

I have some old stuff I flew to DAT when I moved onto a proper studio. But it's in storage and I don't have a DAT player. Of course I don't, lol. Some day... I'll see if I can find a crap cassette copy of some roughs.

One of those signed blanks? Yeah, they were everywhere. I remember some gallery my friend and I want into to see the Dalís only find out they were just prints. I wanted to see the real thing and a trip to Florida or Spain wasn't in the cards.

If you got the drive, though, then the 128 wasn't too bad. I broke down and got an Atari with Dr T's Tiger Cub. Brilliant set up, although I didn't do much with it. I think I have one unfinished 4-track recording I made with it using a Boss sound module and a SixTrak. I should dig it out and hear if it's any good.
