MODO Bass 2 has arrived

Windows 11 here.
Oh yeah, I forgot - every once in a while it goes out of tune.
I use mostly keyswitches, but occassionally use CCs for muting.
MODO Bass 2 loses it on every project for me - it's just automatic reflex to reload it, and carry on.
This never happens in the middle of playing - it's always "gone" when I hit play. It's like it's been left in an unstable state when it stopped.

Now that I think about it, this sounds like the situation with Kontakt where it can go silent after a certain CC is used and reverts to zero. Don't recall the specifics, but have seen it mentioned a few times.

They're going to try the first-shot "basic" things because... that fixes many problems, often. Peter - I think they've given up 
I sent them a Reaper project to look at (they asked me to send it). I zipped it and put it in my dropbox folder and sent them a link.
After a couple of weeks I deleted it from dropbox.
Then after another week or two - the sent an email asking where the file was - so it's definitely not urgent
This has been happening since ver 2 came out.

I was being cheeky. I put in tickets for Amplitube and Modo Bass a couple years ago and never got a response. I put in a ticket for Syntronik last year and never got a response. When I complained on another forum that none of my tickets seemed to be getting through to IK support, you (or whoever was manning the account that day) immediately showed up to the thread and told me to... submit a ticket about it.
I was pretty pissed about it then, but now I just can't help but laugh.
It's all good now though, I found a workaround. If anyone else is having this problem, here's what I did just yesterday:

The thing is - I really like MODO Bass (even with the "not much of a bargain" upgrade price from ver 1).
I just wish it would work right...

Yes definitely follow up with support. If you're not getting any traction with support, I've had some luck with bumping threads like this one and directing Peter's attention (as you saw, he popped in yesterday) but post the ticket number. It's a great product, and this is clearly a multi-user issue, so be a little pushy about it. It doesn't just benefit you, but it benefits everyone else who doesn't have to experience the bug, so your time and effort would be appreciated.
I do a lot of work in between IT and end-users and you'd be amazed at how often people complain about things not working and nothing happeneing that the right people have no idea about. Everyone's busy. Sometimes you gotta raise your hand more than once and follow up, and follow up again and again. In a perfect world that wouldn't be necessary, but this is the real-world and it's far from perfect. Advocate for your bug fixes!
And note: I don't use MODO Bass enough to have ever run into this, but I was recently bugging poor Jason in IK tech support and got told a few times a bug in TONEX would be fixed in the next build, and followed up every build until it was finally resolved. They thought they got it, didn't quite, and after going back and forth a few times, it eventually got resolved. Nothing to be angry about. Was happy to have my issue fixed.

This sounds like it could be related to an issue I've been having: sometimes after opening a project, MODO produces a lot of crackles and pops, and the only way to fix it is to open the project again and hope it works that time (this happens on two different Intel Macs & Logic). I first reported this to IK in June 2022 (also posted in this very thread), and they soon replied that they _can_ reproduce the problem, which got my hopes up. Almost a year later, there has been no updates to the plugin and no feedback from IK. A few months ago I contacted them asking if there have been any updates on this, they didn't reply.
Meanwhile I have been happily using other bass instruments. Just hoping they would fix this one day.

I've come across another MODO BASS bug: the pickup volume dials seem to only have two state: off (knob at 0) and 100% (knob > 0).
Anyone else experienced this?
