Have they fixed the installers yet for the Spectral bundle to include Apple Silicon ready VST3s?

I find that although I have newer plugins the results from the GRM Tools are more useful to me than say Spec Ops or the sound editor in Melodyne or the Reaktor spectral stuff.. Myself I started with the Creative Bundle and then got the Classic Bundle. I've looked at the other bundles but I've yet to see anything in them (other than the ones I already have within the Creative Bundle) that I think I'd find useful.
But $199 is a great deal.

I find myself pulling out at least one thing from my GRM collection for every project, usually to blur something pre-delay, Warp-ing drum sounds or reducing the complex tonal content with the Purity slider in Evolution.. the uses are far from usual but, you know, we all use some of our tools in different ways.

i am (almost) convinced; only in 1 DAW; Cubase 11 Pro (on windows) the VST3 version, every parameter jumps back to its original position.... the VST2 versions work, but not all show, that is how Cubase works, has sometimes this: shows both, or only VST3 (when there are both). and for the future, cubase will only be VST3.
how well is GRM Tools in fixing bugs?
EDIT: hello, i am an FFT addict, so it was a long time on my list...

Fantastic plugins for creativity, no doubt there. Extremely slow at fixing issues and updating.

also, the AU installs as intel on apple silicon systems even though it's a universal binary. they're aware of the problem and are working on a fix but it's been months already and they said it'd be ready in a couple weeks. so, i suspect they're rolling all the fixes into one update and waiting for all of them to be ready.aMUSEd wrote: Fri Apr 21, 2023 10:18 am Have they fixed the installers yet for the Spectral bundle to include Apple Silicon ready VST3s?

I have Complete 2 and always find it as inspiring things, but nevertheless, the further the more have to admit that their uniqueness is fading unfortunately, given more frequent borning various mangling stuff (incl. spectral), and especially some complex delays and granulars. Whilst GRM plugs stubbornly stand still, by and large a decade.
Although ofcourse I still love them (especially for that old design), but if we take a purely pragmatic approach to the issue, then this is already not so much a matter of finding new opportunities, but rather of involvement in history, or pleasure of simply having it in the collection. About 15 years ago - yes, it was a bomb, in a variety of objective senses.
But when a plugin-man was pragmatic lol.

this is not doing really justice to it.martiu wrote: Fri Apr 21, 2023 10:03 am if you are into sound design and like to twist sounds to be unrecognizable (basically making new sounds from old) yes they are worth it
thats what "idiots"* are doing, since its hip now.
The GRM Tools are way better than just for that !
* (sorry my wording ! i´m not native english and just tryed to express of how "this all" feels to me )
yes, this is better
The point with the GRM Tools is this:
To learn to *really* unleash their power, is taking -imho- *alots* of time !
It took me years, and i still feel like just starting with it.......worth the money any day.
But can you invest also the time ?

on another note: M1mac compatibility:
i´ve stumbled here at kvr over a note, that these GRM Tools are now ARM native ready.
I then downloaded them freshly, installed, and its still NOT ARM native ready.
( my check is, based on loading my host in "arm native mode", and see if the VST3 would show up.
they do not ! )
whats the trick here ?
edit: i missed most of this page here bevore posting, since i jumped back to the previous page...
but i don´t understand it.
so, can i make them work arm native ?
( The Host i use is GP,.....but i have also DAWs, and could check there too)

Yeah that's what I was referring to above, I have Silicon Native versions for The Classic and Evolution bundles but the installer for Spectral doesn't seem to actually install the VST3 versions

i see ! ....so a "not installing it" situation.aMUSEd wrote: Fri Apr 21, 2023 7:14 pm .....but the installer for Spectral doesn't seem to actually install the VST3 versions
which could mean that my VST3s -which are installed- are in fact still the old versions ?
but are then my AUs also not arm ready ?....or are these arm native, if i load them ?
i´m totally confused. How could i check this ? (i have many DAWS at hand, in case thats a point)
(have edited my post above bevore i saw yours, btw. )

there's a few posts about inagrm update in the apple silicon native thread. they are aware of the problem and are working on a fix but they said that 3 months ago. anyway.. heres a couple posts about it.Funky40 wrote: Fri Apr 21, 2023 7:22 pmi see ! ....so a "not installing it" situation.aMUSEd wrote: Fri Apr 21, 2023 7:14 pm .....but the installer for Spectral doesn't seem to actually install the VST3 versions

basically, the installer shows as universal binary but on apple silicon systems installs the intel AU which will run in a native DAW because of the AUhosting compatibility app that runs in the background. the vst3 shows as native and works for me. the stand alone apps run natively.

thank you very much @dayjob for taking the time !
the VST3´s were so far NOT shown, when loading my Host -which is GigPerformer- in arm native mode.
I would only get to see the AUs.
Which was so far my way to see if something is arm native ready or not.
Strangely enough, these VST3 do show now up !
great, great, great
