I thought there was a video recently where he was showing blue3 nks parameter mapping.

From the manual page 38:
Release stage
Enables the Multi-Envelope release stage. When the release button is On, the part after the loop end is used when a key is released. When it is set to Off, the loop area is used as release.
By the way as of the time of this post Rob is doing a live stream on his YouTube channel. He's covering Prisma and Wire Pluck today but if you can catch him in time in the chat he'll answer questions.
