I was very surprised by how well such a cheap headset sounded, but; regardless of that: The stem of the microphone had a very mild curve, meaning that it was so far from the mouth that it did not sound as professional as it could. I was finally able to bend the microphone stem with a cigarette lighter, and it sounds really great now. Production quality for only 27.10 CAD (including shipping + free mouse)!

Tip for the next time: heat guns give you more control over softening plastic than a cigarette lighter.

Thanks Bert, I'd considered it; but wasn't sure of the result. I like that there's no hiss I've experienced with other headsets; So I may buy another pair and a heatgun.BertKoor wrote: Sat Apr 22, 2023 6:03 am Tip for the next time: heat guns give you more control over softening plastic than a cigarette lighter.
