Apart from Steinberg and Apple who are firmly wedded to VST3 and AU respectively, I can't think of any other major music company who would be less inclined to get on board with CLAP. Unfortunately like Steinberg, NI are deeply committed to VST (now VST3) as it is the cornerstone of their NKS ecosystem.Teksonik wrote: Sun Apr 23, 2023 1:19 pmThat's a shame. Seems like since CLAP was "born" in Germany so to speak, N.I. would have been on the forefront of adoption.aMUSEd wrote: Sun Apr 23, 2023 1:00 pmIt's been asked - they responded with the sound of one hand clapping
I said this when CLAP was first announced, if DAW developers don't support CLAP then plugin developers have no incentive to do so and if plugin developers don't support CLAP then DAW developers have no incentive to do so. It's sort of a self defeating circle.

Oh well that's bad news for CLAP. The more support it gets....the more support it gets.
I'm not necessarily a fan or hater of the format but I have Bitwig which will run CLAP plugins.
I'm still mostly using VST2 more out of habit than anything unless there is only a VST3 version or in this case only FL Studio/CLAP versions.

Wish this had the resizing that fluctus has. That one is a better default size. This one a bit too big on my surface pro.

When you run it, it will set the user interface scale to 75%.
The reason this option is not available in the menu is because it would be a little too much of a maintenance burden on me to implement it properly. I don't want to have to check that after every update the interface still looks okay in 75%. So there may be some small graphical glitches if you use this.

I believe I've found the bug and I've started to release fixes across my range of plugins.3lu5iv3 wrote: Sat Apr 22, 2023 9:05 am when i click USB MIDI next to MIDI input device in Audio and MIDI Settings, it crashes the synth.
Macbook Air M2, Ventura 13.3.1. please help.
Could you try the newest standalone version of Apricot, https://nakst.itch.io/apricot, and let me know if it works fine for you?
If so, I'll continue to roll out the fixes to the other plugins, including Regency.

I installed and I am able to use the standalone version but the synth does not appear available in my DAW. I just see regency.clap files when I expected .dll

Dare to try to load a '.clap' file?
Guaranteed your computer will not explode...
Clap plugins are dlls with the extension '.clap' as VST3 plugins are dlls with the extension '.vst3'.
Edit:
If you mean your host doesn't support clap at all, well, then that's another story...

I use Reaper (on Windows) so I'm going to try this out. I haven't tried a CLAP plugin yet.
Does Regency install to a default CLAP folder? (is there a default CLAP folder for Windows?)
Or can we choose where to install it?

There is a default CLAP folder for each operating system. The installer will automatically put the CLAP plugin file into this folder.jbraner wrote: Sat May 06, 2023 4:32 pm I use Reaper (on Windows) so I'm going to try this out. I haven't tried a CLAP plugin yet.

My plugins are designed to be flexible about this though, so if you ever need to move or rename the plugin file, it'll just work -- assuming you've configured your DAW to look in the new folder.

So we're thinking that there's a good chance it will go in to
C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP?

Yeah, I think so. The installer will tell you the folder it's installing to anyway.jbraner wrote: Sat May 06, 2023 5:59 pm So we're thinking that there's a good chance it will go in to
