TDR Limiter sounds better, the free Kazrog clipper sounds similar. Then there's the features of the Big Clipper, but there's no demo, no video, no manual available, and I'm also a bit fed up with devs that take centuries to update their stuff and are so disorganized with their offering : I bought Transgressor some time ago, it was never updated and I guess I will have to buy an upgrade to a new version in order to use it in a native Apple Silicon session. It doesn't inspire confidence...
There is a manual. There is a demo. Transgressor 2 came out and was a free upgrade.
Not everyone cares about Apple compatibility (that's a self-inflicted issue for people who choose Apple, and, yes, I also have a MBP). And the Boz Clippers sound good if shaving a couple db, and are easier to use than TDR and, if you already have one, are cheaper, too.

All in all, I think you're just made about the Apple thing or something.

The distortion sounds terrible on this new version.

What's the problem with you ? It's not about Apple, it's about me giving my opinion on the Boz offer.
Actually, at the time when I wrote my post, there was no manual and no demo for the Big Clipper.
I tested the little one, and I don't find it any better than the free Kazrog clipper. And inferior to the TDR one. The only good aspect is the CPU use, but I've got many free plugins I can use for such a cheap/easy task (again, the Kazrog, or the Venn). So why bother about such a plugin ?
Regarding Transgressor, of course I'm speaking about Transgressor 2 that is still not updated for Apple Silicon macs. Except Kush, NI, Reason Studios and some rare stuff, everybody has updated to Apple Silicon quite quickly. So Boz is just in the category of devs that just don't update their stuff often. So maybe it was a free update from Transgressor 1 to 2, but I notice the update from Big Clipper 1 to Big Clipper 2 is not free. I don't care about what Boz did 10 years ago : I'm speaking about what they are doing now.

Yes, I didn't find OS made much difference. The distortion smears very fast.

Always liked the old Little Clipper for some quick & easy added crunch to Snares or Kicks, yet this new Version does something different somehow. Which I dont really like that much and yes, also using Oversampling.
