Hi everyone!
I am looking for beta testers for Windows and Mac versions of Precyne V1.2 (by Decyne4 Music), a sequencer/tracker music production software, which has been designed for hardware music setups.
New major features:
1. Sampler! This sampler has very capable synthesis features, is quick and easy to use and has been designed to be used for actual sampling of incoming audio sources. It’s basically a capable synthesizer with a sampling oscillator.
2. Audio recording into files. Now you can easily bounce multiple audio streams onto disk.
If you feel you would have time and energy to test this software, send me a PM with your computer OS version information and I'll see if there is still room for testers in your OS category.
Feedback from those who decide to participate is obviously highly preferred so I'll know how well the software runs on their computer. The more feedback, the better, obviously.
My hope is that this beta will run fine on older operating systems. At least the following baseline would be great to have tested and running properly:
- Windows 7
- macOS 10.14 (Mojave)

Cheers,
Sami / Decyne4

My product development isn't slow, so that's good news for the tracker sceneAndrey Marchenko wrote: Fri May 05, 2023 10:24 amThat's exactly what they are need now – competitorsBecause development of a product is too slow.

What can it do that Renoise can't?

No joke, but:
Advance one line per scroll on mouse wheel instead of two like all other trackers:

Renoise dev definitely needs some competition, encouraging them to fix some of the biggest UX issues. They have missed too many opportunities to show the full potential of music trackers.

Probably the biggest differences to Renoise are:
1. Proper linear arrangement view of your clips, just like a real modern DAW should have.
2. A good clip launcher view.
3. Clear, uncluttered and intuitive UI.
Then there are lots of small details which were designed and developed with hardware/hybrid studio setup users in mind who are the core demography this software is aimed at.

The mouse wheel scrolls 1 line at a time in Precyne.Logickin wrote: Wed May 10, 2023 4:54 amNo joke, but:
