Less so than an SH-101 or a Juno-6 and those instruments seem to be well regarded. It's way less limited than the instrument it is modelled upon, too.

Just wanted to ask this! Is it more crunchy or more like crispy? This important to know, so me can make a proper decision about it.

A lot of people underestimate the importance of proper Aliasing in these days.

They try to be as analog as possible, avoiding the train wreck crunches at all cost.
Once i got softube OTO 8 bit, i was like - thats it, crunch is the new analog for me.

Its important. Most people also dont know that Aliasing sounds exactly like tube saturation on their AirPods.

Workhorse synths have their place, but I also like having some plugs that feel like specialized, unique pieces of gear (which is when the more skeuomorphic interface fits). This one fits the bill for that.

The one quality-of-life feature I'd really like to see is the addition of dotted and triplet LFO sync speeds.

Which brings up two semi-hidden features - which are in fact documented in the manual, but not obvious if you're just tooling around:
1) LFO sync is enabled by right-clicking the "Speed" label under the slider.
2) The sidechain can accept an external input by right-clicking the "Routing" label.

Does it support MPE?

I really thought they had said in the initial marketing that it wasn't an emulation of anything !?

Now it turns out it's just another SH-101 emulation. Softube's is so damn good, I truly don't feel any desire to have another...
