Stand for Desktop Synth Modules

Maybe someone here can help me out. I currently have two 3D Waves stands for my Prophet 6 and (forthcoming) OB-6 desktop modules, like the one pictured below:



These sit side-by-side on top of two nice wood rack units that are 12-inches deep. I have two other slightly smaller desktop modules (Jomox Alpha Base and Prophet Rev2) that I want to place above these two, angled slightly downward like the 3D Waves stands so I can see the front panel labels. I'm considering a laptop stand similar to the one shown below, but I have some concerns, mainly that the platform won't be sufficiently wide, stable, or sturdy to hold the synths. Anybody here tried this, have any suggestions for stands, or other recommendations? Ideally, it would be angled downward a bit more, but it might be OK. I'm thinking that, with this specific design, I might be able to find some wider cross-bars/dowels to increase the width of the stand.

I've tried those sorts of laptop stands before and wasn't impressed. The taller you make them, the less stable they are and you'd want to weigh down the base, assuming they will even be tall enough for you.

3DWaves, KVGear and Loci are all decent options for stands. Personally I went with Loci because the bottom tier was a Minibrute 2S, which is a bit large and I needed a steep angle and shallow front-to-back depth. I found it easy to assemble and quite stable.

I'm looking for a stand with a platform that elevates above the synths on my 3DWaves stands as a second/higher tier. 3DWaves doesn't make anything like that and, even if they did, their stands are pretty lightweight and flimsy so I wouldn't trust my $2K synths sitting that high on them, let alone above my other $2K synths. Their single-tier stands are fine, though, because they sit low and just prop them up on an angle.

Yeah, stability is my biggest concern. As I mentioned above, 3DWaves doesn't make what I need and neither does KVGear. I actually have several KVGear stands, including their larger Adapt and Utility versions, and they're great, but don't for my specific needs. The problem with those is that the ones that can fit my synths are too deep to sit on my 12-inch deep studio racks and they were very unstable when I tried it. I'll check out Loci and hopefully they'll have something that works. Thanks!

That's exactly the problem I had, except my rack is only 9 inches deep. The Loci XL turned so it's steep is a bit less than 10 inches front to back where it contacts the table. I wound up cutting a piece of plywood to about 11 inches, wrapped it in a sheet on non-slip rubber shelf mat and the stand sits atop that.

My stand also has the Expander mounted atop it, which is just the right size for an Intellijel Pod 60 or something around the size of an 0-Coast, West Pest etc. but could easily accomodate something a bit wider and a little taller. I could actually have just used the XL kit without the Expander in fact, but I wouldn't recommend skipping the expander for anything larger up top.

There is a variation of that laptop stand were you screw it to the table instead - much more stable.
