Reason Studios says that they'll just need to be recompiled, IIRC.

Slightly skeptical on that, as far as "optimization" is concerned, but it at least means everything should be supported once they push out that update.

"Notifications for Nothing" are annoying. Blocking me in return is a good way to avoid this.

Doubt it, as it would really cut into their player marketing. The lack of MIDI VST Support is the only thing that is keeping most of those players relevant, otherwise there are better plug-ins (often at cheaper prices) you can buy in place of many of them.

Scaler 2 would instantly replace Scales & Chords and Chord Sequencer for most, and why would anyone buy Chord Sequencer when they can buy Scaler 2 (which sees very active development and great updates) for less?

Fairly certain Rack Extensions have this sort of thing baked in automatically, hence their whole value proposition as a plugin format for Reason. Aside from a re-compile for Apple Silicon on RS servers, they allegedly should need no input from the original developers. Guess we'll find out!

Annoyingly I just bought the new Paired Spring model Re from the store which was on sale as it just came out only to find it is Intel only :( They need to start warning people.

It's weird actually because I have a couple of other things from this company that are much older but do support Apple Silicon.

Seems a nice reverb. I would buy it now really but seeing that you already found it is an intel only, I don't think I want it now!

Yes, you are right, they should write intel only or Apple Silicon supported! I suggest you contact the developer of it and ask him/her when the AS support would come! Eventually, all Mac computers will be AS only in the future, so my guess all the REs on the shop should be AS compatible.

From another side, I can't seem to crash the beta! It seems very stable and I discovered my new love, synth love, and it is Europa! The more I read further in the manual, the more I love it. So capable synth and so underrated!
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

They must've been in the middle of recompiling them at the time because all 3rd party RE I own are now native. The only remaining exceptions are ironically by Reason Studios themselves, the Umpf Club and Retro instruments.

Awesome, any ETA for the non-beta of Reason with Native apple silicon ?

I second that question as well…
BTW; As it is, running under Rosetta, Reason is using only 4 out of 12 CPU cores on my M2 Pro Mac mini. Obviously not optimised for Apple M CPU's
PS; As it is, Reason must be the last of the last to make a switch to AS, even ProTools an NI managed to make a switch…
What a joke….

Native Apple Silicon is there !!! V12.6...

Congratulations Reason Studio, that's a strong milestone !

Yay - I had the beta anyway but now I've installed the release I notice now the Rack Extensions that were not showing as native before now are too (for me Maia Orange and Turn2on Dual Spring reverb)

That's great news! I'm using Reason and Cubase these days more than other DAWs. Let's log off Windows now and install the update on my mini Mac :D
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Finally.
Thanks Reason.
I’m having so much fun controlling Reason instruments with my Hapax.

What about using Reason 12.6 on two computers ? I don’t get the new offline mode...
