Our follower modulators need audio input, so not really. If your DAW doesn‘t support AU Audio Effects who send MIDI (like Logic for example) you can still use some other MIDI device except the Internal output. MMM works with any MiDI device, also virtual ones of course. Does that help?

I'm on Logic and can route out to IAC Driver and back into Logic, which is one solution. If you modified the AU so that it can also appear as a 'MIDI controlled effect' in Logic, then the audio-follower can work via sidechain input. A MIDI FX version would still be good too, even without the audio based modulation. But this is a generous freebie as it is -- thanks!

Really want to say many thanks to you GSdsp!
Having this plugin free of charge is incredible.

In Logic I used Bidule with great success.
I also used MMM inside Voltage Modular and I can say that with all the routing possibility it offers you can go quite crazy, to say the least.
Using MMM inside VM as a MIDI Fx within Logic would be another seriously good option, couldn't tried it yet though since VM isn't compatible with Logic at the moment under macOS Ventura 13.3.1.

I agree, this is too good to be free... but don't listen to me about that

If I could ask for something it would be maybe a more compact GUI, other than that it does all I need and even more (honestly, I still haven't used actually in a project but I have read the docs and watched videos about it)

You can change the GUI size in the menu if that‘s what you mean? Also we are working on an UI Update for the modulation system

No, I mean there's a lot of empty space around the knobs, they could fit in less space without sacrificing usability. Just leave less "air" among them.
