I remember reporting one to Tim not long after getting SLOO or SLOR and he basically told me there was nothing he could do about it because he didn’t have time - was so long ago I can’t recall what it was thoughbmanic wrote: Mon Apr 24, 2023 1:33 pmAny bugs in them that need addressing? I only have The Finger and The Mouth, both of them works exactly as advertised and I haven't found any bugs in them yet. Are the newer ensembles buggy?aMUSEd wrote: Mon Apr 24, 2023 1:18 pm The Tim Exile stuff is great but he abandoned them almost as soon as they came out unfortunately

Well that is not exactly confidence inspiring. Damn.. well, I'll investigate before committing on any of his stuff.

It's still worth it - SLOO and SLOR sound great - my problems (now I've found the email) were largely around NKS integration for SLOR, which he said he had been planning to do when he had time but in the end never did but I've managed to fix those myself mostly in the end (that's the beauty of Reaktor is you can fix stuff yourself if it's really a problem)

Having just tried it looks like Tim's web shop is down - so these might well be gone
I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

my fav so far are Bit torsion and Stellar.osiris wrote: Sat Apr 22, 2023 1:26 pm http://boscomac.free.fr/
From his old website. Chrome says page Not Secure. That probably means Certificate not up to date. Malwarebytes and Avast didn't even blink and if there's an issue with a webpage Malwarebytes will warn me in huge blazing red letters. The best ones are : Bouncing Ball, Delight Delay, Echophonic, Floodverb, Inity Delay (Ohmboyz clone) just tons.

Stellar is something else. Wouldn't even know how to categorize it.

This is for Reaktor 6. You know I couldn't even get some of the Boscomac Reaktor 5 stuff to open because it said 'This was saved with a newer version'. I guess it's time to fire up Native Access again.

It's not anymore, actually...bmanic wrote: Wed Apr 19, 2023 6:43 pmIt's probably used internally for prototyping all of their upcoming releases.
Basic blocks of Massive X were prototyped in Reaktor (but that's just how Mike Daliot rolls anyways!), but nothing released since has required any such stuff. It's pretty obvious NI is banking on Kontakt rather than Reaktor for the future...
As far as I'm concerned, Reaktor is still very much unique. My very first NI product I ever laid my hands on was Generator...

Ah that's unfortunate to hear.. hope Reaktor is selling well enough for them to keep it going. I really love it dearly! The only other similar piece of software that has piqued my interest enough to really dwell deep into it is Alpha Forever, but alas I switched to Mac so I can't use that any more.
And yeah, Generator (I think it was v1.5 or something like that) was one of the first "modern" software instruments I ever bought through an actual music retailer (I bought some stuff earlier but they were from single developers that sent a floppy disk over mail).

Max for Live but you need Ableton's Live to run devices. Alternatively you can run MAX or Puredata in as standalone application0degree wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 1:32 pm That's very bad news but if that's the case - can anybody recommend anything close to Reaktor with some public devices library?

Yeah, sad to hear, but I have already suspected it. Then, for as much as I love Reaktor, it's time to fully migrate to MAX and RNBO.EvilDragon wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 11:18 am
