Picked up the DeepRemix app from the sale and have to say it does a pretty decent job at separating things out into stems.
This was just from straight "save to stems" from DeepRemix and using mute/unmute on the stems in Reaper

Hitnmix is easily the best demixing software. The others don’t come close

Hit'n'Mix is on Fire! version 6, that adds quite a lot, ánd improves stem demixing, etc. etc.
updates are many, with new features, better workflow, etc.

it is gonna be a great, it already is, sounddesign (for me) playground!

6.25 is already there...

Cheers for the heads up. I hadn’t realised there had been updates, I’ve bookmarked that releases page to keep up to date. The piano/guitar separation could be very handy.

Hopefully Hit’n’Mix will once and for all stop harassing their customers for purchasing a legit copy of their software with such nasty warnings should they have they Internet connection switched off:

Oh man, I didn’t realise a connection was required until I lost my provider. Suddenly shit loads of my software rejected me, including Bitwig!

Cubase Pro user here. Once activated - it needs no Internet connection. My plugins all work offline: DMG, FF, u-he, Acon Digital, Nugen, iZotope, Celemony, TDR, GForce, Xfer, Sonimus, SIR, Kazrog, Fuse, Klanghelm, Valhalla, Wavesfactory. Everything but RipX. Then I uninstalled it and started using Demucs instead of it - problem solved.

I just stay online - problem solved.

Only if that was the case in all studio environments. Also, why should I need Internet connection to use software that does NOT have any Internet functionality and needs Inet only to call home?! That’s plain weird and illogical.
