i like it, works quick and fast, not many features or settings therefore faster results. If you only look to subtract freqs it's great. Also works like a regular dynamic eq when placing your own nodes.

I don't know if it's better than soothe, anyone tried it? I like LEVELS from them but I don't like any other plugin from Mastering The Mix.

Really curious how it compares with Baby Audio Smooth Operator

I use their MixRoom and BassRoom all the time and this one does look interesting as well.
However, I'm just not sure what it gives me that I can't get with Smart EQ3, Soothe 2 and even Pro-Q3.
Still, the price is quite attractive, so might give it a go.

I am demoing this now and quite like it however I have found that sometimes generating targets took ages (about 3-4 minutes) and I felt I could have manually fixed resonances in that time. Generally it has been quite fast though but wondered if anyone else has experienced this. Seems quite good value for the cost imo.

TDR Nova GE takes care of my resonant clean up needs (and more).

I agree, TDR NOVA GE works fine without making it sound artificial,
it´s pretty smooth

what i use for mastering The Mix is called "ANIMATE", which is a multi-purpose mixing tool designed to add movement and energy to any mix. ANIMATE features five different modules (Pulse, Ignite, Growl, Move, and Punch), each with its unique capabilities for shaping the sound.

Sorry I can't comment on Reso directly but I can say that Mastering the Mix are doing pretty clever and innovative stuff. Reso looks great but I own Soothe, so don't have any need for Reso. Soothe can definitely be used in mastering and is very 'transparent' if not abused, so I imagine Reso is similar.

On their other plguins... The one I do use the most from them is Reference (1st version) which I find the most accurate and trustworthy method to help balance your mix frequency-wise (Forget about Sonible Reference or iZotope's Tonal Balance Control... those tools only get you roughly in the right ballpark) - Levels is handy too! Their 'Limiter' plugin is purported to be cleaner than Pro-L. While I am not completely sold on Mixroom for some reason, Bassroom is spooky good!

My advice is... tread with confidence - Master the Mix make great products that typically offer something unique or over and above what else is out there.

DSEQ is a really good contender in this area as well..
