I really like Softube synths but man, find a different synth to turn this undoubted ability to, not one that already exists in several forms, one of which being more of less definitive. The modular bit does save it a bit for me but still, there’s a wealth of great stuff to emulate - MKS80, Jupiter 6, Moog The Source, Korg Polysix / Poly 61, Voyetra 8, Alpha Juno, Matrix 6, JX8p/10.

I'm happy that Softube are building out their synth catalog, and they are doing a good job with their instruments - but not so much interested in this - I never really liked the Prophet 5 that much, and u-he's version at least lets you go above the five-voice limitation.
(I'm fine this being there for authenticity, but an option to increase the voice counts on these things isn't the world's most difficult or intrusive feature to add, for those that want to not be constrained quite so much by the hardware limitations.)

Does Gyu Beats leaked it, BEFORE Softube officially announced it?
Is this the Best Prophet 5 Plugin Ever?

Not sure why the right channel is super quiet - it makes this hard to listen to on headphones without faffing...Rastkovic wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 10:31 am Does Gyu Beats leaked it, BEFORE Softube officially announced it?

What is it about Softube and dirty keyboards? I know they want a vintage vibe, but on their Juno they had keys that looked like they were nicotine-stained (always attractive!), and these ones look like they are covered in finger grease...
I don't have a problem with a bit of patina, but they don't have to make them look gross... vintage synths can be externally cleaned just as easily as new ones.
