As mentioned in my PM here is one of the .sfz files that generates a "The file is not encoded correctly (W4)" message.

Thanks. Unfortunately, to resolve a W4 error I'd need to look at the actual sample WAV file itself. If you can't send the file to me directly, is it downloadable somewhere for me to take a look?

Please correct me if I am mistaken but when a preset is loaded from th Apricot GUI, it does not look like you are calling (from preset-load.h):

void(CLAP_ABI *loaded)(const clap_host_t *host, const char *uri, const char *load_key);

Preset discovery seems to be working correctly.

Thank you for adding support for 'loaded' and updating Apricot to support preset discovery draft-2. The only thing missing that I see is when a host document is loaded. When Apricot is restored, it does not call 'loaded' even though it does show the name of the last selected preset in the GUI of the instance. The preset name in the host is therefore not in sync with the plug-in. Thoughts?

Ok I can send the wav files since they're for testing purposes only. They're from an old third party Alchemy library. I'll send them by PM tomorrow.

For the record that .sfz and the wav files do load in Alchemy.

I discussed this on the CLAP developers Discord server and we decided it is probably better for the host to save this information, rather than the plugin.

In the "Settings" menu, select "Custom skin..." and select the folder you extracted the template into. You can then change the graphics in the .png files, and the next time you reload the plugin the changes should appear. The "_1x" files are used for 100% scale, and the "_2x" files are used for 125% to 200% scale. Let me know if you still need more help.

hi nakst. i have a problem with multiple instances of Apricot. When inserting more than one there is a crackling sound on playback. This is in FL Studio by the way. Any ideas?

That's odd, nobody else has reported such a bug.

• Can you record a screen capture of the issue?
• Does the issue happen with any other versions of the plugin? (CLAP/AU)
• What OS are you using, FL Studio version, Apricot version, and CPU?

Hey nakst, I was thinking about the audio examples from your site. I don't think there are nearly enough audio examples to show the variation capabilities of the synth. There are almost no bass demos, for example, no organs, no pianos, no bells, few examples of deep layering, and a lot of the preset demos are very "samey" sounding. I don't believe the audio demos truly show closely what the plugin is capable, which could lead people to think the synth can do way less than it actually can. I think you'll benefit if you include way more demos and patch sound samples, and in much greater variety on your website. I'm just posting because I think it will be helpful for you, and I hope you don't take it as anything other than a positive, constructive suggestion. Thanks for listening!

try using a bought copy instead of your team r2r version as you showed yourself in your screenshot in the vavra topic

given that it's the current osc choice, i believe this problem will have solved itself in a month. there is always a huge variety and most participants are usually happy to let their tracks be used as demos once the challenge is over.
