That's a nice promo incentive, but we have no idea what this plugin is - it's a total blind box. They should at least hint at what it might be.

Also, it's not a great tactic to get people to pre-order in a hurry... most people will "hold off a bit" and hope they're the 100th. Or the mere mindf*** of that makes barely any one pre-order at all.

I honestly don't think they should hint at it. They should offer a free trial period and let people try it. Then, whether they offer it at $X or $X-30%, that's up to them. But I mean, they have the audacity of saying "'fair pricing without any manipulative marketing tricks.""... wtf... I guess a blind-purchase does not apply as "manipulative marketing trick". It's a "sound-enhancing" plugin ... likely a vst version of one of their hardware units imho. Betterizer plugins are all the rage atm. PA have dozens of 'em.

I seriously checked the date to see if this was an old April's fool joke. £60 for a unidentified plugin which is then £99 on the day you know what it is.

And then they mention without manipulative tricks late April fool perhaps.

My guess is it's a gain knob ala live's utility. It's sound enhancing and louder is better right.

Are there any Beta testers of this thing around or just speaking in general. Pretty sure the usual Youtube suspects will drop their 'non biased' promo Vids punctual with the final Release. Asking for the friend of a friend, who personally knows a Beta tester?
