What two instruments should I get to keep? I am coming to the end of my year sub and can pick two to keep. Not sure if I will renew or not.

You need to have an active Roland Cloud sub to switch out your Lifetime instruments, so if they choose 2 and then cancel, they're stuck with those two until they sign up again (at least for another month).

Same here. Spent some time today working with the VST of the 8P and still can't quite get the hang of it without the PG800. I'll get it figured out though.
While I'm here posting, I wanted to ask you guys about the difference between the SRX stuff and the EZX series. Can anyone explain the main differences and the reason none of these expansions are related to the original cards or card numbers? Very confusing and time consuming.
Also, I checked out the "World" SRX today and I couldn't believe how many bad banjo and guitar sounds there are in that thing. Tonally, one of the worst sounding things out there. To top it off, the "World" SRX has a ton of sounds marked SRX in there and left me scratching my head about that. Couldn't even find a usable tabla kit in there.

It's EXZ. Anyway, the main difference is reverb. The EXZ series were done before this was added to Zenology 2, so all of the EXZ presets lack it.

The EXZ series samples also take up less space. This is likely due to not having to include all of the 5080 samples, like each SRX, or better compression, though there's a possibility of some sort of quality difference. I don't know as I'd never use SRX, personally, due to how it's spread across so many plugins. Everything under one plugin, as Zenology does, makes infinitely more sense to me. Though it would be nice if Roland did an EXZ update which added the correct reverb settings back

Roland themselves would have to answer that. But apparently a limited amount of original sample content (specifically things done by Spectrasonics) had to be left out for copyright reasons. I don't know if anyone's ever made a precise list of differences.

That would be cool to be able to save the Upper or Lower as a separate file and be able to load them into other patches.

This doesn't help for that particular functionality you were asking for, but when creating/editing patches, this is a handy feature you can use when editing partials:
To edit two or more of them at once, hold the Shift button while clicking the Partial selection buttons and any change made to one will reflect in the other(s).

Also, to edit the Upper and Lower at once, you can hold the Shift button while clicking the Common Select buttons and any change made to one will reflect in the other.

I think that info is in the manual, but I haven't checked it out for a while and thought I'd mention it here.

Hey ReiKru! Jon here! As of now there is no way to copy and paste upper and lower parameters in the D50. But it is definitely something worth adding to our feature request list! You can however easily copy and paste full patches to init patches by using the standard Command+C to copy and Command+V to paste (Cntrl+C and Cntrl+V on Windows). Thanks for the feedback!

It would also be nice to have something like the S-series samplers, even if it's just the factory samples.

(and no doubt for a different part of Roland, it would be nice to have some ambient type samples, just one shots for the SP404mk2..I get the feeling that Roland are trying to broaden the user base for the SP404 so that might be something that fits with the product strategy...)
