Yes. I understand the thought there.

Raise the price 50%, outcries, lower price by 25%, happy. Meanwhile the price went up 12.5% from originally. Yet few care because it isn't the initial 50% increase at least.

And the slow rise up continues. Boiling a frog.

That said, I think many most of the people not comfortable with Wave's move have already moved or are in the process of finding alternatives.

Many thanks to you for making this, and thanks to everybody who contributed! :tu:

I'm might upgrade CR8 to V14, but other than that there's nothing more worth buying from Waves when seeing all the better alternatives in the spreadsheet. :D

Waves chat currently offline, so just checking if anyone here knows... have they changed their percentage amount used in license transfers? It used to say 5% in their FAQ, now it just says "a percentage". Not sure why it no longer tells you what that percentage is.

I was wondering the same thing when I read that page recently. I guess they missed mentioning the percentage in the post and it should be 5%. Best to clarify with support, which would probably take a long time to get a reply. I have been waiting for almost a week on a support ticket.

Yeah.. that fact that they don't specify this now seems sus.

Hopefully someone can report back here if they transfer some stuff, now that they're allowed again.

But in the meantime, I'll open a ticket too. Cheers guys.

Has anyone opened a support ticket for bundle upgrades and gotten any reply?

I sent two tickets and there's no reply after almost a week now.

In general I’ve found their website down an awful lot this week (confirmed with the online website checkers), and when it’s up it’s pretty erratic and slow. I do feel for that poor IT department - none of this will have been their fault, they’re having to pick up the pieces and patch it all together on the hoof.

I saw 'Server Not Available' this morning on waves.com and wondered what happened. Guess they are still busy with changes.

What we already know, but just sharing since the WUP info is up. Now we need to raise our voice for WUP discount. :hihi:
What is interesting tough that upgrade options are gone - I don't have an option to upgrade to Mercury or Horizon meaning I won't have "free WUP" just by upgrading to bigger bundle. Are they planning to bring that back? Looks like they took away something in the end
Still nothing - I'm sure these are just some technical difficulties, right? :ud:
So yeah, as expected (again), the bundle upgrades are gone which means they actually took something away after all those shenanigans. I was thinking it could be due to web page overhaul but apprarently it's not the case. Looks like score for Waves

They've said to multiple people through support that they will return, but haven't been able to give a timescale. It'll just appear at some point.

No drama - I think they're done with that for a while.

Ah, that sale did indeed end, now it's just the analogue modeled plugins.

The 25% WUP sale has returned, so that just leaves bundle updates as the only thing not restored. They've said it is coming but couldn't give a timeframe, I guess they'll just slot it in whenever it suits them in the sales schedules. It makes sense to do it after a WUP sale (not before) as they'd get more money overall that way - people will WUP who wouldn't if there was an upgrade sale.
